Sprinklr social listening tool: what it covers, cost and alternatives
The short answer
Sprinklr social listening is the flagship module inside Sprinklr Insights, one of the four product suites Sprinklr sells alongside Sprinklr Service, Sprinklr Social and Sprinklr Marketing. Sprinklr states on its own product page that it monitors more than 30 social and digital channels in real time and taps roughly 500 million daily conversations, and it describes the underlying dataset as the largest repository of publicly available unstructured data. It publishes no price for any of it. Sprinklr's own XML sitemap listed 3,511 pages on August 31, 2026 and contains exactly one URL with the word pricing in it, a press release announcing its 2021 IPO, while sprinklr.com/pricing returns a 404. Procurement data from Vendr, which records real signed deals, puts the median Sprinklr contract at $127,490 a year with a recorded range from $28,800 to $482,884.
Most people who search for the Sprinklr social listening tool are doing one of two jobs. Either Sprinklr came up in an enterprise evaluation and they need to understand what the listening module actually does before the demo, or they have already seen the demo and are trying to work out what it will cost before they take a number to finance. The second job is unusually hard here, because Sprinklr publishes no price for anything.
That is worth stating precisely rather than vaguely, because it is the single most useful fact on this page. On August 31, 2026 we pulled Sprinklr's own XML sitemap. It lists 3,511 URLs covering products, solutions, blog posts, newsroom items and resources. Exactly one of them contains the word pricing, and it is a 2021 press release headed "Sprinklr Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering". A direct request to sprinklr.com/pricing returns a 404. There is no gated pricing page, no tier table behind a form, and no self-serve checkout. Sprinklr retired its self-serve plans in April 2026, so every route into the product now ends at a demo request.
The product itself is genuinely large and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. Sprinklr's listening page claims real-time monitoring across more than 30 social and digital channels, roughly 500 million daily conversations, petabytes of analyzed data driving billions of predictions a day, logo detection inside GIFs, images and video, and an AI Topics layer that clusters themes automatically. Sprinklr also states it was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Social Media Management and Listening. If your remit is global, multi-market and spans customer care as well as marketing, that breadth is real and it is the reason the platform commands the prices it does.
What this page adds is the part the demo does not cover: the full module map that sits under Sprinklr Insights, what teams actually sign for according to procurement records, where that spend is justified, and where a smaller team is buying a customer experience suite when what it needed was monitoring and an alert. Every Sprinklr claim below was read from sprinklr.com and its own sitemap on August 31, 2026. Contract figures come from Vendr, which publishes ranges from real signed deals rather than estimates. Nothing here is an estimate, and where Sprinklr publishes nothing this page says so.

Why it works
Three things to settle before you price Sprinklr listening
Whether you need the suite or the module
Sprinklr Insights is one of four suites, and listening is one of fifteen modules inside it. The Vendr range runs from $28,800 to $482,884, and most of that seventeen-fold spread is how many suites and modules land on the order form. Buying Sprinklr for listening alone is the most expensive way to buy listening.
Who is going to run it
Platforms this deep need a named owner. Query building, dashboard maintenance and taxonomy upkeep are real ongoing work. Teams that sign an enterprise listening contract without an analyst attached tend to use a fraction of what they bought, which is the usual shape of the word shelfware.
How long your procurement cycle is
There is no trial and no self-serve path since April 2026. Every evaluation starts with a demo request and runs through security review, legal and procurement. If you need visibility on a brand issue this month, the timeline is the constraint before the price is.

Sprinklr social listening: what is inside Sprinklr Insights, and what the platform actually costs
Sprinklr product structure, coverage claims and the complete absence of a pricing page were read from sprinklr.com and its own XML sitemap on August 31, 2026. Contract figures are from Vendr, which publishes ranges taken from real signed deals. Competitor prices were verified on each vendor's own site in August 2026.
The first thing worth understanding about Sprinklr social listening is that it is not a product you buy on its own. Sprinklr sells four suites: Sprinklr Service for contact center work, Sprinklr Social for publishing and engagement, Sprinklr Marketing for campaigns and advertising, and Sprinklr Insights, where listening lives. Under Insights, Sprinklr's own sitemap exposes fifteen distinct modules. Social Listening is one of them, with an AI Topics layer beneath it, and it sits alongside a Social Media Monitoring Tool, Conversation Insights, Audience Insights, Competitive Benchmarking, Product Insights, Location Insights, Visual Insights, Smart Insights, LLM Insights, Video Intelligence, Surveys, Reputation Management, and Analytics and Reporting.
That module list is the best available explanation for why Sprinklr quotes vary so wildly. Vendr records a median contract of $127,490 a year with a low of $28,800 and a high of $482,884. Read that range as scope rather than as a discount ladder or a company-size ladder. The buyer at $28,800 took a narrow slice of Insights for one brand. The buyer at $482,884 took Service and Social and Marketing alongside it, across many markets and thousands of seats. Sprinklr's median is roughly two and a half times the next highest in this category: Vendr puts Brandwatch at $50,000, Meltwater at $25,800, Muck Rack at $13,000 and Cision at $12,625. That is a platform premium, not a listening premium.
On capability, Sprinklr's claims are among the largest in the category and they deserve to be quoted accurately. Its listening page states that it monitors more than 30 social and digital channels in real time, taps roughly 500 million daily conversations, and gives access to what it calls the largest repository of publicly available unstructured data. It describes analyzing petabytes of data and driving billions of predictions daily, surfacing themes, trends and anomalies automatically, and detecting logo usage across visual formats including GIFs, images and video. Sprinklr also states it was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Social Media Management and Listening. For a global organization that needs listening, care and publishing governed under one data model, very little else operates at that scale.
The honest counterweight is that most teams searching for a social listening tool are not that organization. The recurring questions in this job are narrower and more urgent: who mentioned us this morning, is the tone worse than last week, and is anything going wrong right now that somebody should look at. Answering those well needs real-time collection, sentiment scoring on every mention, and an alert that fires before a customer emails. It does not need a fifteen-module consumer intelligence suite, visual logo recognition, or a survey platform. Buying Sprinklr for that job means funding a customer experience platform to get a monitoring feature.
There is also a procurement cost that never appears on the quote. Sprinklr retired self-serve in April 2026, and its listening page offers no trial at all: every call to action reads Request demo. That means the shortest path from interest to data is a sales conversation, a scoping exercise, a security review and a contract. For an enterprise replacing an incumbent on a planned cycle, that is normal and fine. For a marketing lead who noticed a Reddit thread yesterday and wants coverage by Friday, it is the wrong shape of purchase regardless of budget.
One last point for anyone building a shortlist. Sprinklr now lists LLM Insights among its Insights modules, aimed at how brands appear inside AI-generated answers. It is not alone: Brandwatch markets GenAI monitoring, Talkwalker sells LLM Insights, and Meltwater's own pricing page names AI Visibility Tracking and GenAI Lens LLM Tracking. If that capability is on your requirements list, treat it as table stakes at the enterprise end rather than as a differentiator that justifies one vendor over another.

How much does Sprinklr social listening cost?
Sprinklr publishes no price, so the honest answer comes from contract data rather than a pricing page. Vendr, which records real signed deals, puts the median Sprinklr contract at $127,490 a year, with a recorded range from $28,800 to $482,884 and discounts of 20% to 35% common on multi-year or competitively bid deals.
Where you land depends almost entirely on scope. Listening is one module inside Sprinklr Insights, which is one of four suites. A narrow single-brand Insights deal sits near the bottom of that range. Insights plus Service plus Social across many markets and thousands of seats sits near the top.
Does Sprinklr publish pricing?
No, and it is unusually complete about it. On August 31, 2026 Sprinklr's own XML sitemap listed 3,511 URLs, and exactly one contained the word pricing: a 2021 press release announcing the pricing of its initial public offering. A direct request to sprinklr.com/pricing returns a 404.
There is no gated pricing page, no tier table behind a form, and no published per-seat rate. Sprinklr retired its self-serve plans in April 2026, so every path into the product now runs through a demo request and a scoped quote.
What is Sprinklr social listening?
It is the listening module inside Sprinklr Insights, one of Sprinklr's four product suites alongside Sprinklr Service, Sprinklr Social and Sprinklr Marketing. Sprinklr states it monitors more than 30 social and digital channels in real time and draws on roughly 500 million daily conversations, which it calls the largest repository of publicly available unstructured data.
Its distinguishing features are scale and breadth. Sprinklr describes analyzing petabytes of data and driving billions of predictions daily, clustering themes automatically through an AI Topics layer, and detecting logo usage inside GIFs, images and video.
Does Sprinklr offer a free trial of social listening?
No. Sprinklr's listening page offers no trial and no self-serve signup, and every call to action on it reads Request demo. Sprinklr retired its self-serve plans in April 2026, which removed the last route into the platform that did not involve a salesperson.
Plan the evaluation accordingly. Between demo, scoping, security review and procurement, an enterprise listening purchase usually runs several weeks at minimum, which matters if the reason you are shopping is a brand issue happening right now.
Is Sprinklr social listening worth it for a mid-market team?
Usually not, and the reason is product shape rather than product quality. Sprinklr is built to govern listening, publishing, advertising and customer care under one data model across many markets. A mid-market team typically needs one of those four things, and platforms this deep need a named owner to configure and maintain them.
If your real questions are who mentioned us today, has sentiment moved, and is anything escalating, a focused tool with real-time collection, sentiment scoring and graded alerting answers them for a small fraction of a $127,490 median contract.
What is a cheaper alternative to Sprinklr social listening?
Among vendors that publish a readable price, the credible options are Awario at $29 a month, Mentionlytics at $49, EyeOut at $59 and Brand24 at $199, all billed yearly. EyeOut includes seats on every plan and collects in real time at entry level, which most self-serve tools reserve for a higher tier.
The trade you are making is suite breadth. None of these run a contact center, publish your campaigns or manage advertising, and none do logo recognition in video. If your requirement genuinely spans care and marketing and listening under one platform, Sprinklr is the right category and the price reflects it.
