EyeOut does not monitor Instagram directly

We keep this page up because people search for Instagram monitoring, and the honest answer belongs here rather than a vague promise. EyeOut does not have API access to Instagram and does not read its posts, comments or profiles. Building and maintaining a direct integration with every social platform is expensive and, on some platforms, no longer commercially available to a small self-serve tool at $39 a month, so we do not pretend to have it.

What EyeOut actually does: it scans Google News, Reddit, Mastodon, Hacker News, Lemmy forums and Apple Podcasts twice an hour for the keywords you track, scores each mention for sentiment, and, from Growth, fires an alert when a keyword jumps well above its own 7-day average. If something happening on Instagram gets picked up by a news outlet, discussed on Reddit, or mentioned on a podcast, that mention lands in your feed. If it stays entirely on Instagram and nowhere else, EyeOut will not see it, and we would rather tell you that plainly than sell you a feature we cannot deliver.
