Brand24 vs Brandwatch pricing, Brandwatch vs Brand24 features and which to buy

The short answer

Brand24 publishes its prices and Brandwatch does not. Brand24 runs from $199 a month billed yearly (Individual, 1 user, 3 keywords, updates every 12 hours) to $599 (Business, 25 keywords, 100,000 mentions), with Enterprise from $1,499 and a 14-day trial with no card. Brandwatch sends every visitor to a demo form, and Vendr records a median Brandwatch contract of $50,000 a year across 40 purchases. Buy Brand24 for self-serve monitoring of a few brands, Brandwatch for consumer research on a deep archive.

Brand24 and Brandwatch sound like rivals and show up in the same comparison searches, but they are sold to different buyers in different ways. Brand24 is a monitoring tool you can buy with a card this afternoon. Brandwatch is a consumer intelligence platform that starts with a demo request and ends with an annual contract. The page-one results for this comparison are mostly review aggregators and translated copies of the same template, and several still quote Brand24 prices from older price lists.

This page reads both vendors directly. Brand24's price table at brand24.com/prices was parsed on October 8, 2026, plan by plan, including which sources and features each tier switches on. Brandwatch's /pricing URL now redirects to a plans page, read the same day, that names solutions but prints no figure. Where a dollar number for Brandwatch appears below, it comes from Vendr contract data with the sample size next to it.

Why it works

Three things that decide this comparison

A card payment against a procurement project

Brand24 shows five plans with monthly and yearly prices and a trial button. Brandwatch shows solution names and a three-step demo form. If you need to start monitoring this week without a sales cycle, that difference settles it before features come up.

Monitoring a few brands against researching a market

Brand24 is built around keyword projects, mention feeds, sentiment and alerts. Brandwatch is built around an archive of 1.7 trillion conversations back to 2010 and analyst query tooling with the Iris AI layer. One answers what people are saying about us now, the other answers questions about a whole category.

Plan tier decides Brand24 coverage

Brand24 sources are tiered. Facebook, Instagram, X, news, blogs and Reddit are on every plan, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok start at Team ($299), review sites and newsletters at Pro ($399), and podcasts only at Business ($599). Compare the tier you would actually buy, not the feature list of the top plan.

The full comparison

Brand24 vs Brandwatch on price, plans, sources and contract terms

Brand24 was read from brand24.com/prices and Brandwatch from brandwatch.com/plans on October 8, 2026. Contract figures come from Vendr, which aggregates private SaaS purchases, quoted with sample size. Vendr figures are negotiated contracts, not list prices.

Start with Brand24, because it is the one with numbers. Five plans sit on the price page. Individual is $199 a month billed yearly or $249 month to month, with 3 keywords, 2,000 mentions a month, 1 user and updates every 12 hours. Team is $299 yearly or $349 monthly, with 7 keywords, 10,000 mentions, unlimited users and hourly updates. Pro is $399 or $499, with 12 keywords, 40,000 mentions and real-time updates. Business is $599 or $699, with 25 keywords and 100,000 mentions. Enterprise starts at $1,499 a month. The trial is 14 days and the FAQ says no credit card is required.

The tiers also gate features, and this is where cheap comparisons go wrong. Boolean search, sentiment, Storm Alerts and Slack or Teams notifications are on every plan. Excel, PDF, PowerPoint and white-label reports start at Pro. The API is not available on Individual or Team, costs extra on Pro and Business, and is included on Enterprise. So a team that wants mention data flowing into its own warehouse is really comparing Brand24 Pro plus the API fee, not the $199 headline.

Brandwatch publishes much less. Its /pricing URL redirects to a page titled Pricing and Plans for Every Team that lists Consumer Intelligence, Search Intelligence with GenAI monitoring, Social Media Management (the former Falcon.io), Influencer Marketing and Media Intelligence and Insights, then routes every one of them to a demo form. There is no trial. Vendr's 40 recorded Brandwatch purchases have a median of $50,000 a year, a range of $19,542 to $81,200, and an average negotiated saving of about 15%. That median is roughly ten times a year of Brand24 Pro at list price, which tells you the two are not priced for the same buyer.

Is Brand24 better than Brandwatch?

For a small or mid-size team monitoring its own brand and a few competitors, usually yes, because you can see the price, start a trial and be collecting mentions the same day. For consumer research across a category, no. Brandwatch's archive back to 2010 and its analyst tooling do a job Brand24 is not built for.

Pick by the job first. If the job is research, the two are not really competing.

How much does Brand24 cost compared to Brandwatch?

Brand24 costs $199 to $599 a month billed yearly on its self-serve plans, or $2,388 to $7,188 a year, with Enterprise from $1,499 a month. Brandwatch prints no price, and Vendr's 40 recorded purchases have a median of $50,000 a year with a range of $19,542 to $81,200.

Even Brand24 Business at list price is a fraction of a typical Brandwatch contract.

Does Brandwatch have a free trial?

No. Every solution on Brandwatch's plans page ends in a demo request form, and there is no self-serve trial. Brand24 offers 14 days with no credit card.

If you need to see your own mention data before talking to sales, a tool with a published price and a self-serve start is the faster test.

Which Brand24 plan covers podcasts and review sites?

Review sites, Twitch and newsletters start on Pro at $399 a month billed yearly. Podcasts start on Business at $599. LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok start on Team at $299, and the $199 Individual plan covers Facebook, Instagram, X, news, blogs, other socials and Reddit.

So a Brand24 quote for podcast monitoring is a Business quote.

Is Brandwatch worth it for a small business?

Rarely. Brandwatch is priced and sold for insights teams with an analyst who will live in the tool, and a $50,000 median contract is more than most small businesses spend on all their marketing software.

A small business that wants to know when it is mentioned in the news, on Reddit or in forums will get that from a self-serve monitor for a few hundred dollars a month or less.

Who owns Brandwatch?

Cision owns Brandwatch; the deal closed on June 1, 2021. Cision's own pricing form lists Brandwatch next to CisionOne and PR Newswire as affiliated brands, so a Brandwatch renewal can arrive bundled with media database and distribution offers.

Brand24 is a separate company and is not part of either group.

Good questions

Questions about brand24 vs brandwatch

For written-mention monitoring, often yes. EyeOut watches Google News, Reddit, Mastodon, Hacker News, Lemmy and Apple Podcasts every 30 minutes, reads sentiment on every mention, runs a crisis radar from Growth, and includes API access on Pro. It does not monitor X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or review sites, does no image recognition and keeps no research archive. If those are the requirement, Brand24 or Brandwatch is the better buy.
At comparable seat counts, yes. EyeOut is $39, $94, $249 or $499 a month billed yearly with 1, 3, 10 or 25 seats and 3, 10, 30 or 60 keywords. Brand24 runs $199 to $599 billed yearly with more social networks covered. The cheaper option is the right one only if your mentions happen where EyeOut looks.
No. Every plan, including Enterprise, is bought online and can be cancelled from the account. There is a one-time demo before you pay so you can see real mentions for your own keywords.
