Short answer: Brand24 prints its prices and Talkwalker does not. Brand24 costs $199, $299, $399 or $599 a month billed yearly ($249 to $699 month to month), with Enterprise from $1,499 and a 14-day trial that needs no card. Talkwalker sells three tiers, Core, Analyze and Business, each one quoted after a demo, and every tier includes unlimited users. For a mid-market team monitoring a handful of brands, Brand24 is the cheaper and faster buy. Talkwalker earns its quote when you need global coverage in many languages and a large team logging in.
Brand24 prices and plan contents were parsed from the raw price table at brand24.com/prices on October 8, 2026. Talkwalker's tiers were read from talkwalker.com/pricing the same day. Talkwalker publishes no figure, and this article does not invent one.

Most comparison pages for this pair still quote Brand24 at $119 or $149 a month and say its trial lasts 30 days. Those numbers come from older price lists. The current table starts at $199 on yearly billing, and the trial is 14 days. If a budget was built on the old figures, it is short by a third or more.
What a team actually pays on Brand24
Brand24 is simple to price until you check which sources each tier switches on. The plan names suggest a ladder of volume. In practice the ladder is also a ladder of channels, and that is what decides the tier most teams end up on.
- Individual, $199 a month billed yearly. 3 keywords, 2,000 mentions a month, 1 user, updates every 12 hours. Facebook, Instagram, X, news, blogs, other socials and Reddit.
- Team, $299. 7 keywords, 10,000 mentions, unlimited users, hourly updates. Adds LinkedIn, Medium, Quora, YouTube and TikTok.
- Pro, $399. 12 keywords, 40,000 mentions, real-time updates. Adds review sites, Twitch and newsletters, plus Excel, PDF, PowerPoint and white-label reports. The API is available for an extra fee.
- Business, $599. 25 keywords and 100,000 mentions. This is the first tier with podcasts.
- Enterprise, from $1,499. Custom limits, API included.
Boolean search, sentiment, Storm Alerts and Slack or Teams notifications are on all five plans, which is more than several rivals give their entry tier. A five-person marketing team that needs LinkedIn and TikTok lands on Team at $3,588 a year. If the PR lead also wants review sites and real-time alerts, that becomes Pro at $4,788, and podcasts push it to Business at $7,188. Our Brand24 pricing breakdown goes tier by tier with the monthly figures.
How Talkwalker quotes Core, Analyze and Business
Talkwalker's pricing page says more than its lack of numbers suggests. Core is the always-on product: social listening and media monitoring, topic and channel analytics, custom dashboards, reports and alerts, and four AI layers. Those are Wisdom (peak detection, forecasting and AI summaries), an AI Agent you can question, LLM Insights for how AI assistants describe your brand, and pre-built IQ Apps dashboards.
Analyze, marked most popular, doubles the non-sampled results volume and adds 25 topics, filters and channels. Business gives six times the Core volume, three times the topics, additional historical data, more AI agent questions and LLM Insights channels, and more workspaces with governance features. Every plan includes unlimited users, onboarding, training and regular strategy reviews.
The quote is driven by data volume, not seats. Before the demo, estimate how many results your queries produce in a month, because that number picks the tier. Talkwalker has too few recorded purchases on Vendr for a reliable median, so any single dollar figure you see quoted for it on a comparison site is a guess. We cover the same quoting model against an enterprise rival in Brandwatch vs Talkwalker, and against a one-plan competitor in YouScan vs Talkwalker.
Is Brand24 cheaper than Talkwalker?
Almost certainly, at any scope a mid-market team would buy. Brand24's top self-serve plan is $7,188 a year at list price, and Talkwalker positions every tier as an enterprise contract with onboarding and strategy reviews built in. The real question is whether the gap buys something you need. Talkwalker's 187 languages and 196 countries matter to a brand selling in a dozen markets. They matter much less to a US company whose customers talk about it in English on Reddit, in the news and on a few social networks.
Team size barely moves the comparison. Brand24 Individual allows one user, but from Team up users are unlimited, and Talkwalker includes unlimited users on every tier. Neither vendor charges by the head beyond Brand24's entry plan, so the decision comes down to sources, volume and coverage.
Who owns Talkwalker now?
Hootsuite. The acquisition was announced on April 8, 2024, and the engine is now sold as Lumen by Talkwalker, both on its own and as the listening layer inside Hootsuite plans. On Hootsuite, alerts, historical search and scheduled listening reports are reserved for Enterprise; our Hootsuite social listening page shows the full plan matrix. If your team already publishes in Hootsuite, that relationship is the main argument for Talkwalker over Brand24.
Which one to buy
- Buy Brand24 if you track a few brands or campaigns, mostly in English, want a price you can read today, and can live with sources being unlocked tier by tier.
- Buy Talkwalker if coverage across many countries and languages is the job, a large insights or comms team needs access, or Hootsuite is already your publishing stack.
- Buy neither if the reason you want mentions is search visibility rather than reputation. Unlinked brand mentions are an SEO lead list, but an AI SEO tool that fixes pages and tracks rankings moves rankings more directly than any listening contract.
If Brandwatch is the other name on your shortlist, our Brand24 vs Brandwatch comparison runs the same self-serve price list against a $50,000 median contract.
A cheaper option when the job is monitoring
Many Brand24 vs Talkwalker searches start from a narrower need. A comms lead wants to know within the hour when a negative story or Reddit thread about the company starts to spread, and wants a weekly read on sentiment against two or three competitors. That job does not need a global listening contract, and it does not need the Business tier just to get podcasts.
EyeOut is built for that buyer. It watches Google News, Reddit, Mastodon, Hacker News, Lemmy and Apple Podcasts every 30 minutes on every plan, scores each mention for sentiment, and from Growth up runs a crisis radar that flags when a keyword's last 24 hours break from its own 7-day average. Prices are published: $39, $94, $249 and $499 a month billed yearly, with 1, 3, 10 and 25 seats included. API access comes with Pro at no extra fee, and Enterprise imports the past 12 months of mentions for every keyword.
It has clear gaps. EyeOut does not cover X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn or review sites, and it keeps no multi-year archive. If those channels are where your customers talk, Brand24 or Talkwalker is the right purchase. If they are not, see how EyeOut compares as a Brand24 alternative or a Talkwalker alternative.
Questions to ask both vendors before you sign
Ask Brand24: which tier first covers every source you need, what the API costs on Pro or Business, how the mention cap behaves when a crisis spikes volume, and whether yearly billing renews automatically at the same rate.
Ask Talkwalker: the non-sampled results volume your queries need and which tier that lands in, how much history each tier includes, whether alerts and LLM Insights channels are capped on Core, and what the year-two price is.
Get both numbers in writing for the same keywords, sources and history. A published list price against an unpublished quote only becomes a comparison once both are on paper.
