Falcon.io pricing: the real Falcon.io price and cost now the suite is Brandwatch

The short answer

Falcon.io no longer has a price of its own. Request falcon.io/pricing today and the server answers with a redirect to brandwatch.com, landing on the Brandwatch plans page, which names Social Media Management as "Formerly the Falcon suite" and publishes no figure on any tier. Cision bought Falcon.io in January 2019, acquired Brandwatch in 2021 and folded the Falcon product into it. So the $129 Starter and $399 Pro numbers that review directories still print describe a product nobody can buy under that name. Budget instead for a quote-led Brandwatch contract: 40 recorded purchases on Vendr show a median around $50,000 a year, with a range from roughly $19,500 to $81,200.

Searching for Falcon.io pricing turns up a full page of confident numbers. Starter at $129 a month, Pro at $399, Premium on request. Review directories, comparison blogs and at least one page that compares Falcon.io to itself all carry some version of that ladder. Not one of them mentions the thing you can check in about four seconds: falcon.io does not resolve to a Falcon product any more.

The redirect is the whole story. Cision acquired Falcon.io, the Copenhagen social media suite, in January 2019, then acquired Brandwatch and merged the two product lines. Today the former Falcon suite is sold as Brandwatch Social Media Management, priced by quote alongside Consumer Intelligence and Influencer Marketing. This page sets out what the redirect actually does, what Brandwatch publishes in place of a price, what buyers have historically paid, and how to read a renewal quote if you are already on the platform.

Why it works

Three things to know before you budget for Falcon.io

The price you found is for a retired product name

Falcon.io was a self-serve social media suite with a published ladder. That ladder went away when Cision merged the product into Brandwatch. The $129 and $399 figures circulating on review sites were captured before the merge and have been copied forward ever since, which is why they agree with each other and with nothing on the vendor site.

Brandwatch publishes no number in its place

The page the redirect lands on is headed Pricing and Plans for Every Team, and it contains no dollar figure anywhere. Every route ends in a demo request form. So the practical answer to what Falcon.io costs today is whatever Brandwatch quotes your team, which is a different kind of purchase from the self-serve one Falcon used to offer.

You are buying a suite, not a monitoring line item

Brandwatch sells Consumer Intelligence, Search Intelligence, Social Media Management (the Falcon suite), Influencer Marketing and analyst services. A quote usually spans more than the piece you came for. If the job is hearing about brand mentions quickly, price that job on its own before you accept a bundled figure.

What it handles

Watched, read and flagged in real time

EyeOut watches every channel for your brand, scores each mention for sentiment and emotion, rolls it up into share of voice and a daily digest, and alerts you the second a real spike begins.

  • A published price at every tier: $59, $149 and $399 a month billed yearly, no sales call and no quote cycle
  • Seats included on every plan rather than billed per head across a suite licence
  • Real-time collection on every plan, with a crisis radar that grades a spike against each source baseline
  • Web, news, X, Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, forums, podcasts and review sites in one feed
  • AI sentiment, emotion and theme on every mention, plus share of voice against named competitors
  • Cancel any time with no annual contract, so a renewal is a decision rather than a deadline

The full picture

What Falcon.io costs now, what the redirect proves, and what buyers actually pay Brandwatch

The redirect chain and the Brandwatch plans page were requested directly and read on September 18, 2026. The acquisition dates come from the January 2019 announcement and the 2021 Brandwatch deal. Vendr figures are private SaaS purchase data, not public procurement records. Nothing on this page is estimated, and where no price is published it says so.

Start with the measurement, because it settles the question faster than any review. A request to www.falcon.io returns an HTTP 301 pointing at brandwatch.com. A request to www.falcon.io/pricing returns a 301 to brandwatch.com/pricing, which itself redirects to brandwatch.com/plans. The redirect target even carries a #from-falcon fragment, which is Cision's own way of tagging traffic arriving from the retired domain. There is no Falcon pricing page left to disagree with.

What you land on is the Brandwatch plans page. It is headed Pricing and Plans for Every Team and it lists the suite: Consumer Intelligence, Search Intelligence with GenAI monitoring, Social Media Management, Influencer Marketing, and Media Intelligence and Insights delivered by analysts. Two of those entries carry a note about where they came from. Social Media Management is labelled "Formerly the Falcon suite". Influence is labelled "Formerly Paladin". That is first-party confirmation, on Brandwatch's own page, that the Falcon product is now the Brandwatch social management line.

The page contains no price. Not a starting figure, not a range, not a per-seat rate. Every call to action opens a demo request. The header now reads Brandwatch + Cision, and the site pushes visitors toward registering on cision.com, which reflects how tightly the two businesses have been merged since Cision closed its Brandwatch acquisition on June 1, 2021.

So what does a team actually pay. The only credible public signal is aggregated purchase data. Vendr, which records negotiated SaaS contracts, shows a median Brandwatch contract of roughly $50,000 a year across 40 recorded purchases, ranging from about $19,500 to $81,200, with buyers negotiating around 15% off the opening quote. Treat that as a broad band rather than a quote: it covers the whole suite, and what you are sold depends on which modules end up in the contract. The important point for anyone budgeting from a $129 figure is the order of magnitude. The gap between the number on the review sites and the number in the purchase data is not a discount, it is a different product sold a different way.

If you are an existing customer facing a renewal, the useful question is which line items you actually use. Falcon was bought by marketing teams for publishing, scheduling, engagement and campaign measurement. Those are the things Brandwatch Social Media Management continues. Listening and consumer research sit in Consumer Intelligence, a separate part of the suite. Plenty of teams discover at renewal that they are paying for a research capability they touch twice a year, or conversely that the monitoring they rely on is the smallest line on an invoice dominated by publishing seats. Split the quote by module before you sign it.

How much does Falcon.io cost?

Falcon.io has no published cost, because it is no longer sold under that name. The former Falcon suite is now Brandwatch Social Media Management, and Brandwatch publishes no price on any of its lines: the plans page carries no dollar figure and routes every visitor to a demo request.

The nearest thing to a real number is aggregated purchase data. Across 40 recorded Brandwatch contracts, Vendr shows a median near $50,000 a year and a range from roughly $19,500 to $81,200. That covers whichever modules end up in the deal, so treat it as a band for the suite rather than a price for the Falcon piece.

Is Falcon.io still available?

Not as a separate product you can sign up for. The falcon.io domain now returns a redirect to brandwatch.com, and the old pricing URL redirects through to the Brandwatch plans page. Brandwatch labels its Social Media Management line "Formerly the Falcon suite", which is the vendor confirming the move on its own site.

Existing customers were migrated rather than cut off, so the capability continues. What has gone is the self-serve purchase: there is no public price, no signup flow and no trial, and new buyers go through a sales conversation.

Why do review sites still list Falcon.io prices?

Because a software listing, once created, tends to outlive the product. Directory pages are built from a snapshot and then propagated: one site captures a ladder, others cite it, comparison posts cite those, and after a few years the figure has more citations than the vendor page it came from. Nothing in that chain checks whether the domain still resolves to the product.

The effect is visible in the search results for this query. Alongside the usual directories sits a page that compares Falcon.io to Falcon.io, which is a strong sign the listings are generated rather than checked. If a number matters to your budget, load the vendor's own pricing URL in a browser and see where it lands.

What replaced Falcon.io for social media management?

Brandwatch Social Media Management is the direct successor, and that is the line Brandwatch marks as formerly Falcon. It carries the publishing, scheduling, engagement and measurement workflows Falcon customers used, inside the wider Brandwatch suite that also includes Consumer Intelligence for research and listening, Search Intelligence with GenAI monitoring, and Influencer Marketing.

Teams who only ever used a slice of Falcon often do not need the suite. If the slice was publishing, the market has plenty of self-serve schedulers. If it was listening and alerting, that is a separate category priced far below a suite contract.

Does Brandwatch offer a free trial in place of the Falcon signup?

No. There is no trial tier, no free plan and no credit-card-free signup anywhere on the Brandwatch plans page. Every button is a demo request, and the form collects your details before any pricing conversation begins.

That is a meaningful change for former Falcon buyers, because Falcon was bought self-serve. If you need to evaluate a platform by using it rather than watching a demo, ask specifically for a sandbox during the sales process, and expect it to be time-boxed.

I only used Falcon for monitoring. What should I pay?

Far less than a suite. Monitoring, meaning collecting public mentions of your brand across the web and social platforms, reading them for sentiment and alerting you when something changes, is the cheapest capability in this market and the one suites price last.

Self-serve monitoring platforms publish rates between roughly $59 and $399 a month with seats included. If your Brandwatch quote is driven by publishing seats and research modules you rarely open, pricing the monitoring job separately is usually the single largest saving available at renewal.

What should I ask before renewing a Brandwatch contract?

Ask for the quote broken out by module, so you can see what Consumer Intelligence, Social Media Management and any analyst services each cost. A bundled figure hides which capability you are actually paying for, and that is the information you need to decide what to keep.

Then ask for usage data per module over the last twelve months, and ask what the price would be for the modules you actually used. Buyers negotiating Brandwatch contracts on record achieve around 15% off the opening figure, so the first number is rarely the last one.

Good questions

Questions about falcon.io pricing

Only the monitoring half, and this page will not pretend otherwise. EyeOut does not publish or schedule posts, does not run a social inbox and does not manage influencer campaigns, so if those workflows are why your team used Falcon, you need a social media management platform. What EyeOut covers is the listening and alerting job: mentions across web, news, X, Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, forums, podcasts and review sites, scored for sentiment and graded for crisis severity, from $59 a month with seats included.
They are separate companies that ended up under one owner. Cision acquired Falcon.io in January 2019 and completed its acquisition of Brandwatch in June 2021, then merged the Falcon product into the Brandwatch suite. Cision also owns BuzzSumo and PR Newswire, so several vendors that comparison pages treat as rivals share a parent.
Because there is not one to quote, and inventing a figure would be worse than saying so. Where a vendor publishes a number, this site prints it and names the page it came from. Where a vendor publishes nothing, as Brandwatch does here, the honest answer is that pricing is by quote, with negotiated purchase data as the only public reference point.
