Mentionlytics Pricing 2026: All Six Plans Compared
Mentionlytics publishes six plans and quietly cut every tier above Basic earlier this year, so most comparison sites are still quoting the old ladder. Here is the verified September 2026 pricing, what changed, and why the collection interval means the real entry price for alerting is $249 rather than $49.

Short answer: Mentionlytics publishes six plans, all billed yearly: Basic $49 a month, Essential $141, Advanced $249, Pro $416, Business $624 and Enterprise from $1,083. Every tier above Basic is cheaper than it was earlier in 2026, so most review sites and pricing aggregators are currently quoting figures that are out of date. The number that decides whether the cheap plan is usable is not the price: Basic collects only every 12 hours, and continuous collection starts at Advanced, $249.
Last updated September 2026. Every figure below was read directly from mentionlytics.com/pricing on September 5, 2026, with the currency toggle set to USD. Competitor prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked during August and September 2026.
Mentionlytics pricing in 2026: all six plans
| Plan | Price billed yearly | Keyword rules | Mentions per month | Collection interval | Social profiles | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49/mo (limited-time rate against a $58 list price) | 3 | 5,000 | Every 12 hours | 10 | 2 |
| Essential | $141/mo | 10 | 15,000 | Every 6 hours | 20 | 10 |
| Advanced | $249/mo | 15 | 50,000 | Continuous | 30 | Unlimited |
| Pro (marked most popular) | $416/mo | 25 | 100,000 | Continuous | 40 | Unlimited |
| Business | $624/mo | 40+ | 200,000+ | Continuous | 60+ | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | From $1,083/mo | 100+ | Custom | Continuous | 100+ | Unlimited |
All six are quoted as monthly rates on annual billing, and Mentionlytics shows a monthly-billing toggle alongside a currency toggle for USD and EUR. Basic, Essential, Advanced and Pro can be bought self-serve with a free trial. Business and Enterprise route to a demo booking, though both also carry a Buy Now link.
The prices came down, and most sources have not caught up
This is the part worth knowing before you quote a number to your finance team. Earlier in 2026, Mentionlytics published a noticeably higher ladder. Here is what changed.
| Plan | Earlier 2026 price | Price on September 5, 2026 | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49 (against a $69 list price) | $49 (against a $58 list price) | Same rate, lower list price |
| Essential | $169 | $141 | Down $28 a month |
| Advanced | $299 | $249 | Down $50 a month |
| Pro | $499 | $416 | Down $83 a month |
| Business | $749 | $624 | Down $125 a month |
| Enterprise | From $1,299 | From $1,083 | Down $216 a month |
If you search for Mentionlytics pricing today, several of the largest software directories still show the old ladder, and some show a $69 entry price that is no longer the list rate. That is not anyone acting in bad faith; aggregator pages are refreshed on their own schedule and vendor prices move faster. It does mean that if you are building a budget from a comparison site rather than from the vendor, you are probably overstating the cost by 15 to 20 percent on the middle tiers.
The collection interval is the real pricing decision
Mentionlytics is unusual in this market for publishing how often it actually collects data, and that single specification reorganizes the whole plan ladder. Basic updates every 12 hours. Essential every 6. Advanced and above are continuous.
Alerts cannot be faster than the data underneath them. A tool that collects twice a day will happily send you an alert, but that alert can be up to twelve hours behind the conversation. For a monthly report, that is fine. For a Friday afternoon where a customer complaint is gathering momentum, it is the difference between responding and reading about it afterwards.
So the honest way to read the ladder is this: if you are buying Mentionlytics for reporting and trend analysis, Basic at $49 is genuinely inexpensive and does the job. If you are buying it because you want to know when something goes wrong, the entry price is not $49. It is $249, because that is where continuous collection starts.
This is not unique to Mentionlytics. It is close to a market convention, and it is worth seeing the pattern.
| Vendor | Entry price | Interval at entry | Price for continuous or real-time collection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mentionlytics | $49/mo billed yearly | Every 12 hours | $249 (Advanced) |
| Brand24 | $199/mo billed yearly | Every 12 hours | $399 (Pro). Hourly at $299 |
| EyeOut | $59/mo billed yearly | Real time | Included on every plan |
| Awario | EUR 29/mo billed yearly | Not published at any tier | Not published at any tier |
| YouScan | $499/mo billed annually | Not published | Not published |
| Mention | From $599/mo, annual contract | Not published | Not published |
Three of the six publish nothing at all about how often they collect, across their entire price range. That silence is itself useful information when you are comparing quotes.
What is not included in the price
Two things are worth checking against your own use case before you pick a tier, because neither is obvious from the plan cards.
The first is review monitoring. Mentionlytics lists extensive review monitoring, naming sites like TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Trustpilot, as a paid add-on on every tier, including Enterprise. If review sites are where your buyers form an opinion, that is a real gap in the sticker price and you should get the add-on quoted before you compare anything.
The second is source coverage by tier. RSS monitoring starts at Advanced. Telegram and podcast monitoring start at Pro, $416. Web sources, the main social networks including X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Bluesky and Threads, and basic review coverage are on every plan. If podcasts matter to you, the entry price is $416 rather than $49, which is a very different purchase.
Which Mentionlytics plan should you buy?
Use the constraint that binds first rather than the price.
- Basic, $49. Right for one or two people tracking a single brand for reporting. Three keyword rules disappears quickly: your brand, a common misspelling and one competitor and you are done. Two users.
- Essential, $141. Ten keyword rules and ten users is the first plan that fits a small marketing team tracking a brand, its products and competitors. Still batched, at six hours.
- Advanced, $249. The first plan with continuous collection and unlimited users. If early warning is the reason you are buying, start your comparison here, not at $49.
- Pro, $416. Adds podcasts, Telegram, customizable reports and AI mention clustering. Worth it if audio coverage or heavier reporting is a genuine requirement.
- Business, $624 and Enterprise from $1,083. White label reports and separate client accounts make Business the agency tier. Enterprise is for very broad keyword coverage.
How Mentionlytics compares on price
Against the tools that publish a number, Mentionlytics sits in the middle and is one of the more transparent vendors in the category, which is a genuine point in its favor. Awario is cheaper at EUR 29 a month billed yearly but caps Starter at one team member and publishes no refresh interval anywhere. Brand24 starts far higher at $199. YouScan publishes a single plan at $499. Mention publishes no figure on its pricing page at all, though its own documentation puts the Company plan at $599 a month on an annual contract, and its cheaper tiers were withdrawn from new customers in July 2025.
The enterprise suites are a different market. Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr and Cision publish no price at any tier. Procurement data from Vendr puts the median annual contract at $12,625 for Cision, $25,800 for Meltwater, $50,000 for Brandwatch and $127,490 for Sprinklr. If you are looking at Mentionlytics at all, those are almost certainly not your alternatives, but it is useful to know the size of the gap. Frequently asked questions
How much does Mentionlytics cost?
Mentionlytics costs $49 a month for Basic, $141 for Essential, $249 for Advanced, $416 for Pro, $624 for Business and from $1,083 for Enterprise, all billed yearly. Monthly billing costs more, and a currency toggle offers USD or EUR. Basic is advertised as a limited-time rate against a $58 list price. A free trial is available on the self-serve tiers.
Does Mentionlytics have a free plan?
No. Mentionlytics offers a free trial rather than a permanently free tier, and every published plan is paid. If a free tool is what you are after, the practical trade is that free monitoring products generally do not publish a collection interval, do not cover review sites or podcasts, and cap you at a single user, which makes them hard to rely on for anything time sensitive.
Is Mentionlytics worth the price?
For multi-language sentiment at a low entry price, it is one of the better-value options in the category and it publishes more specifications than most competitors do. The caveat is which tier you actually need. If you buy Basic at $49 expecting fast alerting, you will be disappointed by a 12 hour collection cycle. Priced honestly against the job of early warning, Mentionlytics starts at $249.
What is the difference between Mentionlytics Basic and Advanced?
Four things change between $49 and $249: collection moves from every 12 hours to continuous, keyword rules go from 3 to 15, the mention allowance goes from 5,000 to 50,000 a month, and users go from 2 to unlimited. Advanced also adds standard reports and AI emotion analysis. The interval and the seat cap are the two that usually decide it.
How many users does Mentionlytics include?
Two on Basic, ten on Essential, and unlimited from Advanced at $249 upward. That matters more than it looks. Monitoring is read by more people than operate it, and if only two colleagues can log in, the person best placed to act on a mention often is not one of them.
What is a cheaper alternative to Mentionlytics?
Awario is the only well-known tool with a lower published entry price, at EUR 29 a month billed yearly, but it allows one team member on that plan and publishes no refresh interval at any tier. If your comparison point is Mentionlytics Advanced at $249, then EyeOut at $59 a month billed yearly is materially cheaper for continuous collection with seats included, though Mentionlytics has broader language coverage. Our Mentionlytics alternative page sets the two out side by side, including where Mentionlytics wins.
Does Mentionlytics monitor podcasts?
Yes, but only from the Pro plan at $416 a month. Podcast monitoring and Telegram are both gated to Pro and above rather than included at entry level. If audio mentions are a requirement, price Mentionlytics at $416 rather than $49 when you compare it against tools that include podcasts on every plan.
Before you commit to an annual plan
Annual billing is where the discount lives in this category, and it is also where the risk lives. Three checks are worth doing while you still have leverage.
Confirm the collection interval for your specific sources in writing, in hours. Confirm whether review sites and any niche forum your buyers use are included or an add-on, since Mentionlytics prices review monitoring separately on every tier. And confirm what happens when you exceed the mention quota, because some vendors in this market stop collecting when you hit the cap, which means a volume spike is exactly the moment you go blind.
It is also worth being clear about what monitoring does not do, whatever you buy. Listening will show you which creators and communities already talk about your category, but acting on that is a separate job: shortlisting and briefing the people with genuine audience trust is closer to finding and hiring the right micro-influencers than to anything a monitoring dashboard handles. Keep the two budgets separate so the monitoring tool is judged on whether it told you in time.
That last point is the one worth carrying into any vendor conversation. Price differences of a hundred dollars a month get a lot of attention in this category, and they are almost never what determines whether the purchase was worth it. Speed of collection, breadth of sources and how many colleagues can see the alert decide that. If early warning is the reason you are buying, our crisis monitoring approach explains what to look for underneath the alert feature, and the Brand24 pricing breakdown shows the same 12 hour to real-time ladder priced a different way.
